What We Believe

We Believe In the Bible

We believe that the Bible, composed of the 66 books contained in the Old and the New Testaments are divinely inspired by God, and are infallible and inerrant in the original writing, and that they are of supreme and final authority in faith and life. We believe that the canon of scripture is complete and entirely whole and is the final authority for all believers -1 Tim. 3:16-17; Mark 13:31; 2 Peter 1:21; 1 Cor. 2:13; Matt. 5:18.

We Believe In the Holy Trinity

We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit – Matt. 28:19-20; Mark 12:29; John 1:1-4, 14; 2 Cor. 13; 14; Heb. 1:1-3; Rev.1:4-6; 1 John 5:7.

We Believe In Jesus Christ

We believe that one Jesus Christ was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and is the true God and true man. That he lived a sinless life and took on himself all our sins. That he was crucified, dead and buried. That he arose on the 3rd day and ascended into heaven where he now sits on the right hand of God the father, making intercession for the saints - Matt. 1:23; 1 Cor. 15:4; Acts 17;2-3; Col. 1:15-23.

We believe that man was created in the image of God; that he sinned, and thereby incurred, not only physical death, but also spiritual death which is separation from God; and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature. Gen 1:26-28; Jere. 17:9; John 3:6; Psalm 51:5; Gen. 6:5; Is. 64:6.

We believe that the LORD Jesus Christ died for our sins according to the scripture, as representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in him are justified on the ground of his shed blood – Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:14; 1 John 2:2.

We believe that all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus Christ are born again of the holy spirit and thereby become children if God - John 1:11-13; Romans 8:15.

We believe in the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost - Luke 12:35-40; Revelation. 20:11-15.

We believe In the Resurrection

We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension Into Heaven, and his present life there for us as High Priest and Advocate -Heb. 7:25; Rom. 8:34.

We believe In His Return

We believe in “that blessed hope.” The personal and imminent return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ - 1 Thess. 4:13 -18; Matt. 24:30; 1 Cor. 15:51-53.

We believe In a Growing Relationship with Christ

We believe that every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus – Studying the Word of God, yielding to the Holy Spirit and being transformed as they are being conformed to the image of Christ. Romans 12:1-2; Eph. 4:11-13; 2 Cor. 3;18

We believe in the establishment of God’s Kingdom here on Earth through the Church

We believe that the Church is God’s primary instrument through which He is working out His redemptive purpose on Earth. The Church therefore is called to have a worldview that is “other-worldly” - Romans 12:1-2; Eph. 4:11-13; 1 Cor. 3;18.

We believe In a Missional Church

We believe that God has called and equipped the Saints to preach the Gospel to all Nations. We are a part of the Church Universal and therefore our Mission field is the World – starting with where we are planted in our local assembly. Matt. 28:18-20; 2 Peter 3:9; John 15:16; Acts 1:8
